Jack Black strikes all the right chords as a teacher who turns his private-school pupils into a classic-rock band. Refreshing, screwball comedy never takes itself too seriously. Written by Mike White, who costars as Black's buddy.
Close out Scene on the Green with a Back-to-School Bash full of energy and rock ‘n’ roll! The night kicks off with a live preshow performance by the School of Rock- East Cobb House Band at 6:30 PM, followed by a screening of School of Rock.
Arrive early for preshow activities, then enjoy an evening packed with music, laughs, and fun. Bring your blankets, chairs, and snacks for one final summer celebration under the stars.
Note: In the event of inclement weather this program moves inside. Seating is more limited and is first come, first served.
